Success Stories of Swiss Entrepreneurs on DHDL

Switzerland may be a small country, but it is full of talented individuals who have made a big impact on the business world. This is particularly evident on the popular TV show “Die Höhle der Löwen” (DHDL), the German version of “Shark Tank.” Over the years, several Swiss entrepreneurs have appeared on the show and have impressed both the investors and viewers with their innovative ideas and determination to succeed.

One of these success stories is the Swiss startup Yamo, founded by Tobias Schüle and José Amado-Blanco. Yamo produces organic and plant-based baby food and has gained popularity not just in Switzerland, but also in other European countries. The entrepreneurs appeared on DHDL in 2018, where they received a six-digit investment from two lions. With this investment, Yamo has been able to expand their product range and distribution, making them a well-known brand in the baby food market.

Another Swiss entrepreneur who has not only appeared on DHDL, but also won the show, is Bianca Schmidt. She is the founder of the cosmetic brand Junglück, which produces natural and vegan beauty products. After her successful pitch on DHDL in 2019, Schmidt received a six-digit investment and her products were immediately sold in major German retail chains. Today, Junglück is a well-established brand
